Narrated by Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid Al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Whoever provides a fasting person with food for breaking the fast, he will have a reward equal to that of the fasting person, without any decrease in the reward of the fasting person.”

سیدنا زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو کوئی کسی روزے دار کو افطار کرا دے تو اس کو روزے دار کے برابر ہی ثواب ملے گا، اور روزے دار کا ثواب بھی کم نہ ہو گا۔“
Sayyidna Zaid bin Khalid Jahni (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jo koi kisi rozedaar ko iftar kara de to us ko rozedaar ke barabar hi sawab milega, aur rozedaar ka sawab bhi kam na hoga“.
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا، كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ".
