It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Jubair that Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a man who had made his camel sit down (for sacrifice). He said, "Make it stand and tie it with a rope, then slaughter it (i.e., sacrifice it), for this is the Sunnah of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
زیاد بن جبیر سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ اس نے اپنے اونٹ کو (قربانی کے لئے) بٹھا دیا ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس کو کھڑا کرو اور رسی سے باندھ دو پھر نحر کرو (یعنی ذبح کرو) کیونکہ یہی محمد ﷺ کی سنت ہے۔
Ziyad bin Jubair se marvi hai ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhuma ne ek shakhs ko dekha ke usne apne unt ko (qurbani ke liye) bitha diya hai, unhon ne farmaya ke usko khara karo aur rassi se bandh do phir nahar karo (yani zabah karo) kyunki yahi Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat hai.
(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَجُلًا قَدْ أَنَاخَ بَدَنَةً، فَقَالَ: "ابْعَثْهَا قِيَامًا مُقَيَّدَةً، سُنَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ".
