Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to apply the best of perfumes to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before he entered the state of Ihram. The narrator said: And Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say to us: Apply perfume before you enter the state of Ihram, and similarly, apply perfume before performing the Farewell Tawaf on the day of sacrifice.

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کو احرام باندھنے سے پہلے ان کے بہترین قسم کی خوشبو لگاتی تھی، راوی نے کہا: اور سیدنا عروہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہم سے کہتے تھے کہ تم احرام باندھنے سے پہلے خوشبو لگا لیا کرو اور اسی طرح قربانی کے دن طواف افاضہ کرنے سے پہلے خوشبو لگا لو۔
Syeda Ayesha Raziallahu Anha ne kaha keh mein Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ehraam bandhne se pehle un ke behtarin qisam ki khushbu lagati thi, ravi ne kaha: aur Sayyiduna Urwah Raziallahu Anhu hum se kehte thay keh tum ehraam bandhne se pehle khushbu laga liya karo aur isi tarah qurbani ke din tawaaf efaada karne se pehle khushbu laga lo.
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:"كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ بِأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ"، قَالَ: وَكَانَ عُرْوَةُ يَقُولُ لَنَا:"تَطَيَّبُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحْرِمُوا وَقَبْلَ أَنْ تُفِيضُوا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ".
