Chapter on cupping (Hijama) for the Muhrim

باب الحجامة للمحرم

Sunan al-Darimi 1857

Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used a hairstick while he was in the state of Ihram.


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حالت احرام میں پچھنا لگوایا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne halat ehraam mein pachhna laguaaya.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: "احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ".

Sunan al-Darimi 1858

Abdullah Ibn Buhaina (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put on back armor in the place called Lai Jamil, while he was in the state of Ihram.


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا عبدالله بن بحینہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے جب کہ آپ محرم تھے، مقام لحی جمل میں پچھنا لگوایا۔

Sayyidna Abdullah bin Buhaina (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jab keh aap muhrim thay, maqam lahi jaml mein peechna lagwaya.

حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، قَالَ: "احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَحْيِ جَمَلٍ، وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ".

Sunan al-Darimi 1859

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wore a lower garment below the navel while in the state of Ihram. Ishaq Rawaih said: Sufyan narrated once from 'Ata', once from Thawus, and once from both of them.


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے احرام کی حالت میں پچھنا لگوایا۔ اسحاق راہویہ نے کہا: سفیان نے ایک مرتبہ عطا سے روایت کی اور ایک مرتبہ طاؤس سے اور ایک مرتبہ دونوں سے روایت کیا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ehram ki halat mein pachna laguaaya. Ishaq Rahiwayh ne kaha: Sufiyan ne ek martaba Ata se riwayat ki aur ek martaba Taus se aur ek martaba donon se riwayat ki.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَطَاوُسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ". قَالَ إِسْحَاق L927: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً: عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَمَرَّةً، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، وَجَمَعَهُمَا مَرَّةً.
