Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: We used to eat horse meat in Medina during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ ہم نے مدینہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے عہد مبارک میں گھوڑے کا گوشت کھایا۔
Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne kaha ki hum ne Madinah mein Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ahd mubarak mein ghore ka gosht khaya.
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: "أَكَلْنَا لَحْمَ فَرَسٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ".
