Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out of the toilet, and food was presented to him, and it was said: "Will you not perform ablution?" The narrator said: He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Will I be praying that I should perform ablution?" Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The narrator mentioned in the chain is Sa'id bin al-Harith.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا: نبی کریم ﷺ بیت الخلاء سے نکلے تو آپ ﷺ کی خدمت میں کھانا پیش کیا گیا، اور عرض کیا گیا: آپ وضونہیں کریں گے؟ راوی نے کہا: آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا میں نماز پڑھوں گا جو وضو کروں؟“ امام دارمی رحمہ اللہ نے کہا: سند میں مذکور راوی سعید بن الحويرث ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne kaha: Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baitul khalase nikle to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein khana pesh kiya gaya, aur arz kiya gaya: Aap wuzu nahin karenge? Rawi ne kaha: Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Kya main namaz padhunga jo wuzu karun?" Imam Darami Rahmatullah Alaih ne kaha: Sanad mein mazkoor rawi Saeed bin al-Hawarith hain.
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُوَيْرِثِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْبِرَازِ فَقُدِّمَ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامٌ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: أَلَا تَوَضَّأُ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: "أُصَلِّي فَأَتَوَضَّأُ؟". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد: إِنَّمَا هُوَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْحُوَيْرِثِ.
