Chapter on a menstruating woman remembering Allah but not reciting Quran

باب الحائض تذكر الله عز وجل ولا تقرأ القرآن

Sunan al-Darimi 1027

It is narrated from 'Amr ibn Shu'aib (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity after sexual discharge) and a menstruating woman should not recite the Quran.

Grade: Hasan

عامر شعبی رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ جنبی اور حائضہ قرآن نہیں پڑھیں گی۔

Aamir Shaabi rehmatullah alaihe se marvi hai ke junubi aur haiza Quran nahi parhein gi.

(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّازُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ: "الْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ لَا يَقْرَآنِ الْقُرْآنَ".
