Chapter on a menstruating woman hearing the prostration in prayer but not prostrating

باب: الحائض تسمع السجدة فلا تسجد

Sunan al-Darimi 1042

It is narrated from Imam Zuhri that a woman in the state of ritual impurity after menstruation or childbirth, upon hearing a verse of prostration, should not perform the prostration until she performs ghusl (ritual bath).

Grade: Sahih

امام زہری رحمہ اللہ سے اس عورت کے بارے میں جو پاک ہو گئی ہو اور آیت سجدہ سنے، مروی ہے کہ جب تک غسل نہ کر لے سجدہ نہیں کرے گی۔

Imaam Zahri rehmatullah alaih se us aurat ke baare mein jo paak ho gayi ho aur ayat sajda sune, marvi hai ki jab tak ghusl na kar le sajda nahi karegi.

(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى الطُّهْرَ فَتَسْمَعُ السَّجْدَةَ، قَالَ: "لَا تَسْجُدُ حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ".
