Chapter on a person in a state of janabah or menstruation
باب: في عرق الجنب والحائض
Sunan al-Darimi 1061
Imam Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Not all of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had two garments or cloaks." He was told, "When you wash one, won't you wear it?" He said, "That's exactly the point."
Grade: Sahih
امام حسن رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ کے سب ہی اصحاب دو کپڑے یا چادر نہیں رکھتے تھے، انہوں نے کہا: جب دھو لو گے تو کیا تم اس کو پہنو گے نہیں، یہ بالکل اسی طرح ہے۔
Imam Hasan rehmatullah alaih ne farmaya: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sab hi ashaab do kapre ya chadar nahi rakhte the, unhon ne kaha: jab dho loge to kya tum is ko pehnoge nahi, yeh bilkul isi tarah hai.
(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: مَا كُلُّ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا يَجِدُونَ ثَوْبَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: "إِذَا اغْتَسَلْتَ أَلَسْتَ تَلْبَسُهُ فَذَاكَ بِذَاكَ".
