Chapter on a person in a state of janabah or menstruation

باب: في عرق الجنب والحائض

Sunan al-Darimi 1066

It is narrated on the authority of Nafi’: Ibn `Umar used to sweat while in the state of Janabah (major ritual impurity), and he would offer his prayer in that dress (after taking bath).

Grade: Sahih

نافع رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے: سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو حالت جنابت میں کپڑے میں پسینہ آتا، پھر وہ اسی کپڑے میں نماز پڑھ لیتے تھے۔

(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ كَانَ "يَعْرَقُ فِي الثَّوْبِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ".
