Chapter on a menstruating woman applying kohl and a woman praying in dyed garments

باب في المرأة الحائض تختضب والمرأة تصلي في الخضاب

Sunan al-Darimi 1130

It is narrated from Nafi' that the women of Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, used to apply henna (as hair dye) during their menses.

Grade: Sahih

نافع رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی عورتیں حیض کی حالت میں خضاب (مہندی) لگاتی تھیں۔

Nafi Rehmatullah Alaih se marvi hai ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ki aurtain haiz ki halat mein khuzab (mehendi) lagati thin.

(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ نِسَاءَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كُنّ "يَخْتَضِبْنَ وَهُنَّ حُيَّضٌ".
