Sunan al-Darimi 225
Ata bin Abi Rabah, may Allah have mercy on him, said in the explanation of the verse "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you..." [An-Nisa: 59/4]: "Those in authority" are the people of knowledge and jurisprudence, and "obedience to the Messenger" is following the Quran and Sunnah.

عطاء بن ابی رباح رحمہ اللہ نے آیت «﴿أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ ....﴾» [النسا: 59/4] کی تفسیر میں کہا «اولي الامر» اہل علم و فقہ ہیں اور «طاعة الرسول» کتاب و سنت کی اتباع ہے۔
Ata bin Abi Rabah rehmatullah ne ayat "Atiullah wa atiur rasool wa ulilamri minkum" [Al-Nisa: 59/4] ki tafseer mein kaha "Ulil Amr" ahle ilm o fiqh hain aur "Ta'at-ur-Rasool" kitab o sunnat ki ittiba hai.
(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ: أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ سورة النساء آية 59، قَالَ: "أُولُو الْعِلْمِ وَالْفِقْهِ، وَطَاعَةُ الرَّسُولِ: اتِّبَاعُ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ".
