Sahih Ibn Hibban 1763
Yazid bin Abi Ubaid narrated: "He used to come with Salamah bin al-Akwa' to the Duha prayer, and he would go directly to the pillar before the Mushaf and pray close to it. So I said to him, 'Why don't you pray here?' and I pointed him to some parts of the mosque. He said, 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) seeking out this place.'"
یزید بن ابی عبید بیان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ سلمہ بن الاکوع کے ساتھ نمازِ چاشت کے لیے جایا کرتے تھے اور وہ سیدھے اس ستون کے پاس چلے جاتے جو قرآنِ مجید کے سامنے تھا اور وہاں قریب جا کر نماز ادا کرتے تھے۔ تو میں نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ یہاں کیوں نہیں نماز پڑھتے؟ اور میں نے انہیں مسجد کے کچھ حصوں کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ جگہ تلاش کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
Yazid bin Abi Ubaid bayan karte hain ke woh Salma bin Al-Akwa ke saath Namaz-e-Chasht ke liye jaya karte thay aur woh seedhe us sutun ke paas chale jate jo Quran-e-Majeed ke samne tha aur wahan qareeb ja kar Namaz ada karte thay. To maine unse kaha ke aap yahan kyun nahi Namaz parhte? Aur maine unhein masjid ke kuch hisson ki taraf ishara kiya. To unhon ne kaha ke maine Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ye jagah talaash karte dekha hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ وَابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِزَامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْتِي مَعَ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ إِلَى سُبْحَةِ الضُّحَى فَيَعْمِدُ إِلَى الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ دُونَ الْمُصْحَفِ فَيُصَلِّي قَرِيبًا مِنْهَا فَأَقُولُ لَهُ أَلَا تُصَلِّي هَا هُنَا؟ وَأُشِيرُ لَهُ إِلَى بَعْضِ نَوَاحِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَحَرَّى هَذَا الْمَقَامَ»
