Sahih Ibn Hibban 3658
Abdullah bin Amr reported: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I asked him about fasting. He said, “Fast one day of every month and you will have the reward of fasting the rest of the month.” I said, “I am able to fast more than that.” He said, “Then fast two days of every month and you will have the reward of fasting the rest of the month.” I said, “I am able to fast more than that.” He said, “Then fast three days of every month and you will have the reward of fasting the rest of the month.” I said, “I am able to fast more than that.” He said, “The most beloved fasting to Allah is the fasting of David, and he would fast every other day.”
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور آپ سے روزوں (کے مسائل) کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’(اگر تم سے بن پڑے تو) ہر مہینے میں ایک دن کا روزہ رکھو، تمہارے لیے یہ پورے مہینے کے روزوں کا ثواب ہوگا‘‘۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میں اس سے زیادہ روزے رکھنے کی طاقت رکھتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تو ہر مہینے میں دو دن کے روزے رکھو، تمہارے لیے یہ پورے مہینے کے روزوں کا ثواب ہوگا‘‘۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میں اس سے زیادہ روزے رکھنے کی طاقت رکھتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تو ہر مہینے میں تین دن کے روزے رکھو، تمہارے لیے یہ پورے مہینے کے روزوں کا ثواب ہوگا‘‘۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میں اس سے زیادہ روزے رکھنے کی طاقت رکھتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’اللہ تعالیٰ کو سب سے زیادہ محبوب روزہ داؤد علیہ السلام کا روزہ ہے کہ آپ ایک دن روزہ رکھتے اور ایک دن چھوڑ دیتے تھے‘‘۔
Abdullah bin Amro raziallaho anhoma kehte hain keh mein Rasool Allah sallallaho alaihe wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir huwa aur aap se rozon (ke masail) ke bare mein daryaft kya to aap sallallaho alaihe wasallam ne farmaya: "(Agar tum se ban pade to) har mahine mein ek din ka roza rakho, tumhare liye yeh poore mahine ke rozon ka sawab hoga". Maine arz kya keh mein is se ziada roze rakhne ki taqat rakhta hun. Aap sallallaho alaihe wasallam ne farmaya: "To har mahine mein do din ke roze rakho, tumhare liye yeh poore mahine ke rozon ka sawab hoga". Maine arz kya keh mein is se ziada roze rakhne ki taqat rakhta hun. Aap sallallaho alaihe wasallam ne farmaya: "To har mahine mein teen din ke roze rakho, tumhare liye yeh poore mahine ke rozon ka sawab hoga". Aap sallallaho alaihe wasallam ne farmaya: "Allah Taala ko sab se ziada mahboob roza Dawood alaihissalam ka roza hai keh aap ek din roza rakhte aur ek din chhor dete the".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ فَقَالَ «صُمْ يَوْمًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَلَكَ أَجْرُ مَا بَقِيَ» قُلْتُ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ «صُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَلَكَ أَجْرُ مَا بَقِيَ» قُلْتُ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ «صُمْ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَلَكَ أَجْرُ مَا بَقِيَ» قُلْتُ إِنِّي أُطِيقُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الصِّيَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ صَوْمُ دَاوُدَ» وَكَانَ يَصُومُ يَوْمًا وَيُفْطِرُ يَوْمًا
