Sahih Ibn Hibban 3679
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Prophet ﷺ went out to inform us about the Night of Decree. Two Muslim men were arguing, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "I went out to inform you about the Night of Decree, but so-and-so and so-and-so argued, so it was raised. Perhaps it is better for you. So seek it in the ninth, the seventh, and the fifth (nights)."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ہمیں شب قدر کی خبر دینے کے لیے نکلے تھے کہ دو آدمی آپس میں جھگڑ رہے تھے تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں تمہیں شب قدر کی خبر دینے کے لیے نکلا تھا کہ فلاں اور فلاں جھگڑ پڑے تو وہ اٹھا لی گئی ۔ شاید یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہو ۔ تو تم اسے نویں، ساتویں اور پانچویں (راتوں) میں تلاش کرو ۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW humain Shab e Qadr ki khabar dene ke liye nikle thay keh do aadmi aapas mein jhagad rahe thay to Aap SAW ne farmaya keh main tumhein Shab e Qadr ki khabar dene ke liye nikla tha keh falan aur falan jhagad pade to wo utha li gayi. Shayad yeh tumhare liye behtar ho. To tum usay nauvi, saatvi aur panchvi (raaton) mein talaash karo.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِيُخْبِرَنَا بِلَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَتَلَاحَى رَجُلَانِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَقَالَ «خَرَجْتُ لِأُخْبِرَكُمْ بِلَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَتَلَاحَى فُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ فَرُفِعَتْ وَعَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرًا لَكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي التَّاسِعَةِ وَالسَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ»
