Sahih Ibn Hibban 3966
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah: Abu Qatadah was with some people who were in the state of Ihram, while he was not. They came across a donkey and a cow, but they did not allow him to hunt until the Prophet (ﷺ) saw him. While the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting, Abu Qatadah stealthily took a whip from one of them and chased the animals and slaughtered them. He then brought the meat to his companions and they ate, carrying some with them. When they came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), he asked them: "Did anyone of you point it out to him (to hunt)?" They replied: "No." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then eat."
عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ بعض مُحْرِم لوگوں کے ساتھ تھے اور وہ خودحلال تھے، راستے میں انہیں ایک گدھا اور ایک گائے ملی تو ان لوگوں نے انہیں شکار کرنے کی اجازت نہ دی یہاں تک کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے چپکے سے ان میں سے ایک شخص کا کوڑا لیا اور ان دونوں جانوروں کے پیچھے لگ گئے اور انہیں ذبح کر دیا پھر ان کا گوشت اپنے ساتھیوں کے پاس لے آئے، انہوں نے کچھ کھایا اور کچھ اپنے ساتھ لے لیا، جب وہ لوگ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے پوچھا کیا تم میں سے کسی نے انہیں ( شکار کرنے ) کا اشارہ کیا تھا؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم کھاؤ ۔
Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah raziallahu anhuma kahte hain ki Abu Qatadah raziallahu anhu baaz muhrim logon ke sath the aur wo khud halal the, raste mein unhen ek gadha aur ek gaye mili to un logon ne unhen shikar karne ki ijazat na di yahan tak ki wo Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hue aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam baithe hue the ki Abu Qatadah raziallahu anhu ne chupke se un mein se ek shakhs ka kora liya aur un donon janwaron ke peeche lag gaye aur unhen zibah kar diya phir un ka goshth apne sathiyon ke paas le aaye, unhon ne kuchh khaya aur kuchh apne sath le liya, jab wo log Allah ke Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke paas aaye to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un se puchha kya tum mein se kisi ne unhen (shikar karne) ka ishara kiya tha? Unhon ne kaha nahin, to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya tum khao.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْمٍ مُحْرِمِينَ وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ فَعَرَضَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ حِمَارٌ وَحْشِيٌّ فَلَمْ يُؤْذِنُوهُ حَتَّى أَبْصَرَهُ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَاخْتَلَسَ مِنْ بَعْضِهِمِ سَوْطًا فَحَمَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَصَرَعَهُ فَأَتَاهُمْ بِهِ فَأَكَلُوا وَحَمَلُوا مَعَهُمْ فَأَتَوْا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلُوهُ؟ فَقَالَ «هَلْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ إِنْسَانٌ مِنْكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا لَا قَالَ «فَكُلُوهُ»
