Sahih Ibn Hibban 4087
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A matron (a woman who has been married) has more right concerning herself (marriage) than her guardian, and a virgin should be consulted, and her silence is her acceptance."
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ” بالغ عورت کو اپنے ولی سے زیادہ حق ہے اپنے (نکاح) میں، اور کنواری لڑکی سے اس کی مرضی پوچھی جائے گی، اور اس کی خاموشی رضامندی ہے۔"
Hazrat Ibn Abbas razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Baligh aurat ko apne wali se ziada haq hai apne (nikah) mein, aur kunwari ladki se uski marzi poochi jayegi, aur uski khamoshi raza mandi hai."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْأَيِّمُ أَحَقُّ بِنَفْسِهَا مِنْ وَلِيِّهَا وَالْبِكْرُ تُسْتَأْذَنُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَإِذْنُهَا صُمَاتُهَا»
