Sunan Ibn Majah 1624
Zuhri narrated that he heard Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) say, ‘The last glance that I had of the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم)was when he drew back the curtain on Monday, and I saw his face as if it was a page of the Mushaf (Qur’an), and the people were praying behind Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه). He (Abu Bakr) wanted to move, but he (the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) gestured to him to stand firm. Then he let the curtain fall, and he died at the end of that day.’

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا آخری دیدار مجھے دوشنبہ کے دن ہوا، آپ نے ( اپنے حجرہ کا ) پردہ اٹھایا، میں نے آپ کا چہرہ مبارک دیکھا، تو گویا مصحف کا ایک ورق تھا، لوگ اس وقت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی جگہ سے ہٹنے کا ارادہ کیا، لیکن آپ ﷺ نے ان کو اشارہ کیا کہ اپنی جگہ پر رہو، اور پردہ گرا دیا، پھر اسی دن کی شام کو آپ کا انتقال ہو گیا ۱؎ ۔
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka aakhiri didaar mujhe doshanba ke din hua, aap ne (apne hajara ka) parde uthaya, main ne aap ka chehra mubarak dekha, to goya Mushaf ka ek warq tha, log is waqt Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pichhe namaz padh rahe the, Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apni jagah se hatne ka irada kiya, lekin aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ko ishara kiya ke apni jagah par raho, aur parde gira diya, phir usi din ki sham ko aap ka intikal ho gaya 1؎
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ: آخِرُ نَظْرَةٍ نَظَرْتُهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَشْفُ السِّتَارَةِ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ، فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ، كَأَنَّهُ وَرَقَةُ مُصْحَفٍ، وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَحَرَّكَ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اثْبُتْ، وَأَلْقَى السِّجْفَ، وَمَاتَ مِنْ آخِرِ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ .
