Sunan Ibn Majah 239
It was narrated that Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said : "I heard the Apostle of Allah ( صلىہللا عليه و آله وسلم) say : 'Everyone in the universe, in the heavens and on earth, prays for forgiveness for the scholar, even the fish in the sea."

ابوالدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے سنا: عالم کے لیے آسمان و زمین کی تمام مخلوق مغفرت طلب کرتی ہے، یہاں تک کہ سمندر میں مچھلیاں بھی ۔
Abu'l-Darda' radiyallahu 'anhu kehte hain ke main ne Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate suna: 'Aalam ke liye aasmaan o zameen ki tamam makhlooq maghfirat talab karti hai, yahaan tak ke samandar mein machhliyan bhi
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ لَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلْعَالِمِ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ، حَتَّى الْحِيتَانِ فِي الْبَحْرِ .
