كِتَابُ الْإِمَامَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

Chapter on the severity of neglecting the first row.

بَابُ التَّغْلِيظِ فِي التَّخَلُّفِ عَنِ الصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1559

Sayyidah Aisha Radi Allahu anha narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Some people will always stay behind the first row, until Allah will put them in Hellfire."

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کچھ لوگ ہمشہ پہلی صف سے پیچھے رہتے رہیں گے حتّیٰ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اُنہیں جہنّم میں ڈال دے گا۔“

Saeeda Aisha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Kuch log hamesha pehli saf se peeche rehte rahenge hattah keh Allah Ta'ala unhen Jahannam mein daal dega."

نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، وَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لا يَزَالُ أَقْوَامٌ مُتَخَلِّفُونَ عَنِ الصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي النَّارِ"

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1560

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'eed Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered (the mosque) and saw some people in the back of the mosque. He said, "What has delayed you?" Some people would always stay behind until Allah would put them in the back. Go forward and pray behind me, and let those who come after you follow you."

سیدنا ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (مسجد میں) داخل ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کچھ لوگوں کو مسجد کے پچھلے حصّے میں دیکھا۔ آپ نے دریافت کیا: ”تمہیں کس چیز نے مؤخر کردیا ہے؟“ کچھ لوگ مستقل پیچھے رہیں گے حتّیٰ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ بھی اُنہیں پیچھے کر دے گا۔ تم آگے بڑھو اور میری اقتداء کرو اور تمہارے بعد والے تمھاری اقتداء کریں۔“

Sayyidina Abusaid RA bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah SAW (masjid mein) dakhil huye to aap SAW ne kuch logon ko masjid ke peechle hisse mein dekha Aap ne دریافت kia Tumhein kis cheez ne moakhir kardia hai Kuch log mustaqil peechhe rahenge hatta keh Allah Taala bhi unhein peechhe kar dega Tum aage badho aur meri iqtida karo aur tumhare baad wale tumhari iqtida karein

قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَرَأَى نَاسًا فِي مُؤَخَّرِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: " مَا يُؤَخِّرُكُمْ؟! لا يَزَالُ أَقْوَامٌ يَتَأَخَّرُونَ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرَهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، تَقَدَّمُوا فَأْتَمُّوا بِي، وَلْيَأْتَمَّ بِكُمْ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ"
