Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The night of Laylatul Qadr is on the twenty-seventh or the twenty-ninth night (of Ramadan), and the angels on that night are more than the number of pebbles."

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”شب قدر ستائیسویں یا اُنتیسویں رات ہے اور اس رات میں فرشتے کنکریوں کی تعداد سے بھی زیادہ ہوتے ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Shab e Qadr sattaiiswein ya untiswein raat hai aur is raat mein farishtey kankrion ki tadaad se bhi ziada hote hain."
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ السَّابِعَةِ، أَوِ التَّاسِعَةِ وَعِشْرِينَ، وَإِنَّ الْمَلائِكَةَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ أَكْثَرُ فِي الأَرْضِ مِنْ عَدَدِ الْحَصَى"
