It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that verily the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made his she-camel kneel down in this Batha' (low-lying place) which is in Dhu'l-Hulaifah, then he prayed there. Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same.

حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ بے شک رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس بطحاء ( نشیبی نالے ) میں اپنی اونٹنی کو بٹھایا جو ذوالحلیفہ میں ہے ، پھر وہاں نماز پڑھی ، نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی ایسے ہی کیا کرتے تھے ۔

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « أَنَاخَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ الَّتِي بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ . فَصَلَّى بِهَا » قَالَ نَافِعٌ : وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ مَالِكٌ : « لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُجَاوِزَ الْمُعَرَّسَ إِذَا قَفَلَ ، حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ . وَإِنْ مَرَّ بِهِ فِي غَيْرِ وَقْتِ صَلَاةٍ ، فَلْيُقِمْ حَتَّى تَحِلَّ الصَّلَاةُ . ثُمَّ صَلَّى مَا بَدَا لَهُ ، لِأَنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَرَّسَ بِهِ ، وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَاخَ بِهِ »
