Description of Sajdat al-Tilawah
بيان سجود التلاوة
Mishkat al-Masabih 1033
He said that in the year of the Conquest* God's Messenger recited a verse at which a prostration should be made and all the people prostrated themselves. Some were mounted, some were prostrating themselves on the ground, and those who were mounted prostrated themselves on their hands. * i.e. the Conquest of Mecca in 8 A.H. Abu Dawud transmitted it.

ابن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فتح مکہ کے سال آیت سجدہ تلاوت فرمائی تو تمام لوگوں نے سجدہ کیا ، ان میں سے بعض سواری پر تھے ، اور ان میں سے بعض نے زمین پر سجدہ کیا حتیٰ کہ سوار اپنے ہاتھ پر سجدہ کر رہے تھے ۔ ضعیف ۔
Ibne Umar bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah ne Fath Makkah ke saal aayat sajda tilawat farmaee to tamam logon ne sajda kya, un mein se baaz sawari par thay, aur un mein se baaz ne zameen par sajda kya hatta keh sawar apne hath par sajda kar rahe thay. Zaeef.
وَعَن ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ سَجْدَةً فَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْهُمُ الرَّاكِبُ وَالسَّاجِدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّاكِبَ لَيَسْجُدُ عَلَى يَده. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
