Description of Fear prayer (Salat al-Khauf)
بيان صلاة الخوف
Mishkat al-Masabih 1423
He said:God’s Messenger led us in the prayer in time of danger and we drew up in two rows behind him with the enemy between us and theqibla. The Prophet said, "God is most great” and we all said it; then he bowed and we all bowed; then he raised his head after bowing and we all raised ours; then he and the row next him went down in prostration while the rear row stood facing the enemy; then when the Prophet finished the prostration and the row next him stood up, the rear row went down in prostration; then they stood up; then the rear row went to the front and the front row to the rear; then the Prophet bowed and we all bowed; then he raised his head after bowing and we all raised ours; then he and the row next him which had been in the rear in the firstrak'awent down in prostration while the rear row stood facing the enemy; then when the Prophet and the row next him finished the prostration the rear row went down and prostrated them selves; then the Prophet, uttered the salutation and we all did so. Muslim transmitted it.

جابر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں نماز خوف پڑھائی ، ہم نے آپ کے پیچھے دو صفیں بنائیں جبکہ دشمن ہمارے اور قبلہ کے درمیان تھا ، نبی ﷺ نے تکبیر کہی تو ہم سب نے بھی تکبیر کہی ، پھر آپ نے رکوع کیا تو ہم سب نے رکوع کیا ، پھر آپ نے رکوع سے سر اٹھایا تو ہم سب نے بھی رکوع سے سر اٹھایا ، پھر آپ اور آپ کے ساتھ والی صف سجدہ میں چلی گئی ، اور دوسری صف دشمن کے سامنے سینہ سپر رہی ، جب نبی ﷺ سجدے کر چکے تو آپ کے ساتھ والی صف کھڑی ہو گئی تو پچھلی صف سجدہ کے لیے جھکی پھر وہ سجدہ کر کے کھڑے ہو گئے تو پچھلی صف آگے بڑھی اور اگلی صف پیچھے آ گئی ، پھر نبی ﷺ نے رکوع کیا اور ہم سب نے بھی رکوع کیا ، پھر آپ نے رکوع سے سر اٹھایا تو ہم سب نے بھی رکوع سے سر اٹھایا ، پھر آپ کے ساتھ والی صف جو کہ پہلی رکعت میں پیچھے تھی ، سجدے میں چلے گئے اور پچھلی صف دشمن کے سامنے سینہ سپر رہی ۔ جب نبی ﷺ اور آپ کے ساتھ والی صف سجدے کر چکی تو پچھلی صف سجدے میں چلی گئی ، پھر نبی ﷺ نے سلام پھیرا ، اور ہم سب نے بھی سلام پھیرا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Jibir bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne humein namaz khauf parhayi, humne aapke peeche do safein banayin jabke dushman humare aur qibla ke darmiyaan tha, Nabi ne takbeer kahi to hum sab ne bhi takbeer kahi, phir aap ne rukuh kiya to hum sab ne rukuh kiya, phir aap ne rukuh se sar uthaya to hum sab ne bhi rukuh se sar uthaya, phir aap aur aap ke sath wali saf sajde mein chali gayi, aur dusri saf dushman ke samne seena sipar rahi, jab Nabi sajde kar chuke to aap ke sath wali saf khadi ho gayi to pichli saf sajde ke liye jhuki phir wo sajde kar ke khade ho gaye to pichli saf aage badhi aur agli saf peeche aa gayi, phir Nabi ne rukuh kiya aur hum sab ne bhi rukuh kiya, phir aap ne rukuh se sar uthaya to hum sab ne bhi rukuh se sar uthaya, phir aap ke sath wali saf jo ke pehli rakat mein peeche thi, sajde mein chale gaye aur pichli saf dushman ke samne seena sipar rahi. Jab Nabi aur aap ke sath wali saf sajde kar chuki to pichli saf sajde mein chali gayi, phir Nabi ne salam pheira, aur hum sab ne bhi salam pheira. Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَن جَابر قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ وَالْعَدُوُّ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَكَبَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَبَّرْنَا جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَرَكَعْنَا جَمِيعًا ثمَّ رفع رَأسه من الرُّكُوع ورفعنا جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ بِالسُّجُودِ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَقَامَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ فِي نَحْرِ الْعَدُوِّ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السُّجُودَ وَقَامَ الصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ انْحَدَرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ بِالسُّجُودِ ثُمَّ قَامُوا ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ وَتَأَخَّرَ الْمُقَدَّمُ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَكَعْنَا جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ من الرُّكُوع ورفعنا جَمِيعًا ثمَّ انحدر بِالسُّجُود وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ الَّذِي كَانَ مُؤَخَّرًا فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى وَقَامَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ فِي نَحْرِ الْعَدو فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السُّجُودَ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ انْحَدَرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدُوا ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَلَّمْنَا جَمِيعًا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ\
