Description of Sacrifice (Qurbani)

Jabir said that on the day of sacrifice the Prophet sacrificed two horned rams which were white with black markings and had been castrated. Then when he made them face theqiblahe said, “I have turned my face towards Him who created the heavens and the earth, following Abraham’s religion as ahanif, and I am not one of the polytheists. My prayer, my religious rites, my life and my death belong to God, the Lord of the universe, who has no partner. That is what I was commanded to do, and I am one of the Muslims (Al-Qur’an; 6:161-163). O God, it comes from Thee and is given to Thee from Muhammad and his people. In the name of God, and God is most great.” Then he made sacrifice. Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it. A version by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi says that he sacrificed with his own hand and said, “In the name of God, and God is most great. O God, this is from me and from those of my people who have not sacrificed.”

جابر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ نے عید الاضحی کے روز سینگوں والے چتکبرے دو خصی مینڈھے ذبح کیے ، جب آپ ﷺ نے انہیں قبلہ رخ کیا تو یہ دعا پڑھی :’’ بے شک میں نے ابراہیم جو کہ یکسو تھے کے دین پر ہوتے ہوئے اپنے چہرے کو اس ذات کی طرف متوجہ کیا جس نے زمین و آسمان کو پیدا فرمایا ، اور میں مشرکوں میں سے نہیں ہوں ، بے شک میری نماز ، میری قربانی ، میرا جینا اور میرا مرنا اللہ کے لیے ہے جو کہ تمام جہانوں کا پروردگار ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، مجھے اسی کا حکم دیا گیا ہے ، اور میں مسلمانوں (اطاعت گزاروں) میں سے ہوں ، اے اللہ ! (یہ قربانی کا جانور) تیری عطا ہے اور تیرے ہی لیے ہے ، اسے محمد (ﷺ) اور ان کی امت کی طرف سے قبول فرما ، اللہ کے نام سے اور اللہ بہت بڑا ہے ۔‘‘ پھر آپ ﷺ نے ذبح فرمایا ۔ احمد ، ابوداؤد ، ابن ماجہ ، دارمی ۔ اور احمد ، ابوداؤد اور ترمذی کی روایت میں ہے : آپ ﷺ نے اپنے دست مبارک سے ذبح کیا ، اور یہ دعا پڑھی :’’ اللہ کے نام سے ، اور اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے ، اے اللہ ! یہ میری اور میری امت کے اس شخص کی طرف سے ہے جس نے قربانی نہیں کی ۔‘‘ ضعیف ۔
Jibir bayan karte hain, Nabi ne Eid-ul-Adha ke roz seengon wale chitkabre do khasi mendhe zibah kiye, jab aap ne unhen qibla rukh kiya to ye dua parhi: ''Be shak maine Ibrahim jo ke yaksu the ke deen par hote huye apne chehre ko us zaat ki taraf mutawajjah kiya jisne zameen-o-aasman ko paida farmaya, aur main mushrikon mein se nahi hun, be shak meri namaz, meri qurbani, mera jeena aur mera marna Allah ke liye hai jo ke tamam jahaanom ka parwardigar hai, uska koi sharik nahi, mujhe usi ka hukm diya gaya hai, aur main musalmanon (itaat guzaron) mein se hun, aye Allah! (ye qurbani ka janwar) teri ata hai aur tere hi liye hai, ise Muhammad aur un ki ummat ki taraf se qubool farma, Allah ke naam se aur Allah bahut bada hai.'' Phir aap ne zibah farmaya. Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, Darami. Aur Ahmad, Abu Dawood aur Tirmidhi ki riwayat mein hai: Aap ne apne dast-e-mubarak se zibah kiya, aur ye dua parhi: ''Allah ke naam se, aur Allah sab se bada hai, aye Allah! Ye meri aur meri ummat ke us shakhs ki taraf se hai jisne qurbani nahi ki.'' Zaeef.
عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: ذَبَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الذَّبْحِ كَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ موجئين فَلَمَّا وجههما قَالَ: «إِنِّي وجهت وَجْهي للَّذي فطر السَّمَوَات وَالْأَرْضَ عَلَى مِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أَمَرْتُ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأُمَّتِهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ ذَبَحَ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِأَحْمَدَ وَأَبِي دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيِّ: ذَبَحَ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ: «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا عَنِّي وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ من أمتِي»
