Description of visiting the sick and the reward for illness
بيان زيارة المريض وأجر المرض
Mishkat al-Masabih 1531
She said that when a person complained of some trouble, or if he had a sore or a wound, the Prophet would say while pointing with his finger, “In the name of God. It is the soil of our land with the spittle of one of us (the suggestion is that the Prophet took some earth on his finger and spat on it), that our sick one may be healed by our Lord’s permission.” (Bukharl and Muslim.)

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، جب انسان کے کسی عضو کو کوئی تکلیف ہوتی یا اسے کوئی پھوڑا ہوتا یا کوئی زخم ہوتا تو نبی ﷺ اپنی انگلی سے اشارہ کرتے ہوئے فرماتے :’’ اللہ کے نام (کی برکت) سے ، ہماری زمین کی مٹی ، ہمارے بعض کی تھوک کے ساتھ اللہ کے حکم سے ہمارے بیمار کو شفا بخشی جائے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Ayesha bayan karti hain, jab insan ke kisi uzv ko koi takleef hoti ya usay koi phoda hota ya koi zakhm hota to Nabi apni ungli se ishara karte hue farmate: “Allah ke naam (ki barkat) se, hamari zameen ki mitti, hamare baz ki thook ke sath Allah ke hukm se hamare bimar ko shifa bakhshi jaye.” Muttafaqun alaih.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى الْإِنْسَانُ الشَّيْءَ مِنْهُ أَوْ كَانَتْ بِهِ قَرْحَةٌ أَوْ جُرْحٌ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ: «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تُرْبَةُ أَرْضِنَا بِرِيقَةِ بَعْضِنَا لِيُشْفَى سَقِيمُنَا بِإِذن رَبنَا»
