Description of visiting the sick and the reward for illness
بيان زيارة المريض وأجر المرض
Mishkat al-Masabih 1550
‘All said he heard God’s messenger say, “No Muslim will pay a sick visit to another in the morning without seventy thousand angels invoking blessings on him till the evening, or visit him in the evening without seventy thousand angels invoking blessings on him till the morning, and he will have gathered fruits (the word used here iskharif, one of whose meanings is gathered or plucked fruits) in paradise.” Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ جو مسلمان کسی مسلمان کی صبح کے وقت عیادت کرتا ہے تو شام ہونے تک ستر ہزار فرشتے اس پر رحمتیں بھیجتے رہتے ہیں اور اگر وہ شام کے وقت اس کی عیادت کرتا ہے تو صبح ہونے تک ستر ہزار فرشتے اس کے لیے دعا کرتے رہتے ہیں اور اس کے لیے جنت میں ایک باغ تیار کر دیا جاتا ہے ۔‘‘ ضعیف ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, maine Rasulullah SAW ko farmate huye suna: ''Jo musalman kisi musalman ki subah ke waqt eyadat karta hai to sham hone tak sattar hazaar farishte us par rehmaten bhejte rehte hain aur agar wo sham ke waqt uski eyadat karta hai to subah hone tak sattar hazaar farishte uske liye dua karte rehte hain aur uske liye jannat mein ek bagh taiyar kar diya jata hai.'' عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مُسْلِمًا غُدْوَةً إِلَّا صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ وَكَانَ لَهُ خَرِيفٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد\
