Description of bathing and shrouding the deceased
بيان غسل وكفن الميت
Mishkat al-Masabih 1641
Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A pair (of garments, i.e., an Izar and a Rida) is the best shroud, and a horned ram is the best sacrifice." (Hasan) Narrated by Abu Dawood.

عبادہ بن صامت ؓ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جوڑا (ازار اور چادر) بہترین کفن ہے جبکہ سینگوں والا مینڈھا بہترین قربانی ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ibadat bin Samit RA Rasool Allah SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Joda (izaar aur chadar) behtarin kafan hai jabke seengon wala mendha behtarin qurbani hai.'' Isnaadahu hasan, riwayah Abu Dawood.
وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «خَيْرُ الْكَفَنِ الْحُلَّةُ وَخَيْرُ الْأُضْحِيَةِ الْكَبْشُ الْأَقْرَنُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد\
