بيان مشيئة الجنازة وصلاة الجنازة

Ibn ‘Abbas said that God's messenger came upon a grave where an interment had taken place at night and asked when this person had been buried. On being told that he had been buried the previous night, he asked why they had not informed him. They told him that they had conducted the burial in the darkness of night and had not liked to waken him, whereupon he stood up, and when they formed a row behind him he prayed over the dead. (Bukharl and Muslim.)

ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک قبر کے پاس سے گزرے جہاں گزشتہ رات کسی کو دفن کیا گیا تھا ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے کب دفن کیا گیا ْ‘‘ صحابہ نے عرض کیا ، گزشتہ رات ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم نے مجھے کیوں نہ مطلع کیا ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : ہم نے رات کی تاریکی میں اسے دفن کیا تھا ، اس لیے ہم نے آپ کو بیدار کرنا مناسب نہ سمجھا ، پس آپ کھڑے ہوئے تو ہم نے آپ کے پیچھے صفیں باندھیں ، پھر آپ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Ibne Abbas se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah ek qabar ke pass se guzre jahan guzishta raat kisi ko dafan kia gaya tha. Aap ne farmaya: "Ise kab dafan kia gaya?" Sahaba ne arz kia, guzishta raat. Aap ne farmaya: "Tum ne mujhe kyun nah mutla kia?" Unhon ne arz kia: Hum ne raat ki tariki mein ise dafan kia tha, is liye hum ne aap ko bedar karna munasib nah samjha, pas aap kharay huye to hum ne aap ke peechhe safein bandheen, phir aap ne is ki namaz janaza parhi. Mutaffiq Alaih.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِقَبْرٍ دُفِنَ لَيْلًا فَقَالَ: «مَتَى دُفِنَ هَذَا؟» قَالُوا: الْبَارِحَةَ. قَالَ: «أَفَلَا آذَنْتُمُونِي؟» قَالُوا: دَفَنَّاهُ فِي ظُلْمَةِ اللَّيْلِ فَكَرِهْنَا أَنْ نُوقِظَكَ فَقَامَ فَصَفَفْنَا خَلفه فصلى عَلَيْهِ
