بيان مشيئة الجنازة وصلاة الجنازة
Mishkat al-Masabih 1663
‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “If four people give a good testimony about any Muslim, God will cause him to enter paradise.” ‘Umar said they asked whether this would apply if three testified, and he said it would. They further asked if it would apply if two testified, and he said it would; but they did not ask him about one. Bukhari transmitted it.

عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس مسلمان کے بارے میں چار آدمی گواہی دے دیں کہ وہ اچھا ہے تو اللہ اسے جنت میں داخل فرمائے گا ۔‘‘ ہم نے عرض کیا : اور تین آدمی ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تین آدمی ۔‘‘ ہم نے عرض کیا : دو آدمی ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ دو آدمی ۔‘‘ پھر ہم نے ایک کے بارے میں آپ سے نہیں پوچھا ۔ رواہ البخاری ۔
Umar RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Jis musalman ke bare mein chaar aadmi gawahi de den ke woh achha hai to Allah use jannat mein dakhil farmaye ga.'' Hum ne arz kiya: ''Aur teen aadmi?'' Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Teen aadmi.'' Hum ne arz kiya: ''Do aadmi?'' Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Do aadmi.'' Phir hum ne ek ke bare mein aap se nahin poocha. وَعَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ شَهِدَ لَهُ أَرْبَعَةٌ بِخَيْرٍ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ» قُلْنَا: وَثَلَاثَةٌ؟ قَالَ: «وَثَلَاثَةٌ» . قُلْنَا وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَانِ» ثُمَّ لم نَسْأَلهُ عَن الْوَاحِد. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
