To whom giving Sadaqah is not permissible
بيان من لا يجوز أن يتصدق

Abu Huraira told that al-Hasan b. 'All took one of the dates of thesadaqaand put it in his mouth, whereupon the Prophet said, “Leave it alone, leave it alone,” in order that he might throw it away. He then said, “Do you not know that we* do not eat thesadaqa?’ (Bukhari and Muslim.) * The pronoun includes the Prophet and his family, al Hasan being his grandson. The idea is more definitely expressed in 'Abd al-Muttalib's tradition.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، حسن بن علی ؓ نے صدقہ کی کھجوروں میں سے ایک کھجور لی اور اسے منہ میں ڈال لیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ٹھہرو ، ٹھہرو ۔‘‘ تاکہ وہ اسے پھینک دیں ، پھر فرمایا :’’ کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ ہم صدقہ نہیں کھاتے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Huraira bayan karte hain, Hasan bin Ali ne sadqay ki khajuron mein se aik khajoor li aur usay munh mein daal liya to Nabi ne farmaya: "Thahro, thahro." Taake woh usay phenk dein, phir farmaya: "Kya tumhein maloom nahin ke hum sadqa nahin khate." Mutaffiq alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَخَذَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كِخْ كِخْ» لِيَطْرَحَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أما شَعرت أَنا لَا نَأْكُل الصَّدَقَة؟»
