He reported God’s messenger as saying, “No fast is to be observed on two days,al-Fitrandal-Adha.* *In this tradition I have used the Arabic words, but have translated them in the preceding tradition. In the preceding traditionan-nahris used whereal-Adhais used here.Al-Adhameans literally the victims. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

ابوسعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ عید الفطر اور عید الاضحی کے دو ایام میں روزہ رکھنا جائز نہیں ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Eid-ul-Fitr aur Eid-ul-Azha ke do ayyam mein roza rakhna jaiz nahin. '' Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا صَوْم فِي يَوْمَيْنِ: الْفطر وَالضُّحَى
