‘Ā’isha said that the Prophet sent a man in charge of an expedition and he would recite for his companions during their prayer, finishing with “Say, He is God, One.” When they returned they mentioned that to the Prophet, and he told them to ask him why he did that. They asked him and he replied, “Because it is a description of the Compassionate One, and I like to recite it.” Then the Prophet said, “Tell him that God loves him.” (Bukhārī and Muslim.)

عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو کسی لشکر کا امیر بنا کر بھیجا ، وہ اپنے ساتھیوں کو نماز پڑھاتا تو قراءت کے آخر میں سورۂ اخلاص پڑھتا ، جب وہ واپس آئے تو انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکرہ کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا :’’ اس سے پوچھو کے وہ ایسے کیوں کرتا تھا ؟‘‘ انہوں نے اس سے پوچھا تو اس نے کہا : کیونکہ وہ رحمان کی صفت ہے ، اور میں اسے پڑھنا پسند کرتا ہوں ، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے بتا دو کہ اللہ اسے پسند فرماتا ہے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Ayesha RA se riwayat hai ke Nabi SAW ne aik aadmi ko kisi lashkar ka ameer bana kar bheja, woh apne saathiyon ko namaz parhata to qirat ke akhir mein Surah Ikhlas parhta, jab woh wapas aaye to unhon ne Nabi SAW se iska tazkara kiya to aap ne farmaya: "Is se pucho ke woh aise kyun karta tha?" Unhon ne is se pucha to usne kaha: "Kyunkah woh Rahman ki sifat hai, aur mein ise parhna pasand karta hun." Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Ise bata do ke Allah ise pasand farmata hai." Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ لأَصْحَابه فِي صلَاتهم فيختم ب (قل هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ)\فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا ذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «سَلُوهُ لِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ» فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالَ لِأَنَّهَا صفة الرَّحْمَن وَأَنا أحب أَن أَقرَأ بِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَخْبِرُوهُ أَن الله يُحِبهُ»\
