Aifa‘ b. ‘Abd al-Kilā‘ī told of a man who asked God’s messenger whichsūraof the Qur’ān was greatest and was told that it is “Say, He is God, One.” He asked which verse of the Qur’ān was greatest and was told that it is the Throne Verse, “God, there is no god but He, the Living, he Eternal.” He asked God’s prophet which verse he would like to bring good to him and his people and was told, ‘‘The end ofsūra al-Baqara, for it is one of the treasures of God’s mercy from under His Throne which He gave to this people, and there is no good in this world and the next which it does not include.” Dārimī transmitted it.

ایفع بن عبدالکلاعی ؒ بیان کرتے ہیں ، کسی آدمی نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! قرآن میں سب سے عظیم سورت کون سی ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ سورۃ الاخلاص ۔‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : تو پھر قرآن میں سب سے عظیم آیت کون سی ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ آیۃ الکرسی ۔‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے نبی ! آپ کون سی آیت پسند فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ آپ کو اور آپ کی امت کو مل جائے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ سورۂ بقرہ کا آخری حصہ کیونکہ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے عرش کے نیچے اس کی رحمت کے خزانوں میں سے ہے جو اس نے اس امت کو عطا فرمائی ہے ، اور وہ دنیا و آخرت کی تمام بھلائیوں پر مشتمل ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ۔
Afee Ibn-e-Abdulkalaee bayan karte hain, kisi aadmi ne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Quran mein sab se azeem surat kaun si hai? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: “Surah Ikhlas.” Unhon ne arz kiya: To phir Quran mein sab se azeem aayat kaun si hai? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: “Aayat-ul-Kursi.” Unhon ne arz kiya: Allah ke Nabi! Aap kaun si aayat pasand farmate hain ke woh aap ko aur aap ki ummat ko mil jaye? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: “Surah Baqarah ka aakhri hissa kyunki woh Allah Ta’ala ke Arsh ke neeche us ki rehmat ke khazano mein se hai jo us ne is ummat ko ata farmayi hai, aur woh dunya-o-aakhirat ki tamam bhalaiyon par mushtamil hai.” Isnaad-e-zaeef.
وَعَنْ أَيْفَعَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْكَلَاعِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ سُورَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ؟ قَالَ: (قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ)\قَالَ: فَأَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ؟ قَالَ: آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ (اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ)\قَالَ: فَأَيُّ آيَةٍ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تُصِيبَكَ وَأُمَّتَكَ؟ قَالَ: «خَاتِمَةُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَزَائِنِ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْ تَحْتِ عَرْشِهِ أَعْطَاهَا هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ لَمْ تتْرك خيرا من يخر الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ» . رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِيُّ\
