Description of the rewards of Tasbih, Tahmeed, Tahlil, and Takbeer
بيان أجر التسبيح والتحميد والتهليل والتكبير

Sa‘d b. Abu Waqqas said that along with the Prophet he once visited a woman in front of whom were some date-stones or pebbles which she was using as a rosary to glorify God. The Prophet suggested that he would tell her something which would be easier (or more excellent)* for her than that, and told her it consisted of saying, “Glory be to God as many times as the number of what He has created in the heaven; Glory be to God as many times as the number of what He has created in the earth; Glory be to God as many times as the number of what is between them; Glory be to God as many times as the number of what He is creating; God is most great (a similar number of times); Praise be to God (a similar number of times); There is no god but God (a similar number of times); There is no might and no power except in God (a similar number of times).” *The transmitter was not sure whether "easier" or "more excellent" was used. Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is agharibtradition.

سعد بن ابی وقاص ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک عورت کے پاس آئے ۔ اس کے سامنے کھجور کی گھٹلیاں یا کنکریاں پڑی ہوئی تھیں اور وہ ان پر تسبیح پڑھ رہی تھی ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا میں تمہیں ایسی چیز نہ بتاؤں جو تمہارے لئے اس سے آسان تر یا افضل ہے ؟ ((وَ سُبْحَانَ اللہِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ ........ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ)) اللہ کے لئے تسبیح ہے ان چیزوں کی گنتی کے برابر جو اس نے آسمان میں تخلیق فرمائیں ، اللہ کے لئے تسبیح ہے ان چیزوں کی گنتی کے برابر جو اس نے زمین میں پیدا فرمائیں ، اس کے لئے تسبیح ہے ان چیزوں کی گنتی کے برابر جو ان کے درمیان ہیں ، اور اللہ کے لئے تسبیح ہے ان چیزوں کی گنتی کے برابر جو وہ پیدا کرنے والا ہے ، اور اللہ کے لئے بڑائی ہے اسی مثل ، اللہ کے لئے حمد ہے اسی مثل ، ((لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ )) اسی مثل اور ((لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ )) اسی مثل ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، ابوداؤد ۔ اور امام ترمذی نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی (۳۵۶۸) و ابوداؤد (۱۵۰۰) ۔
Saad bin Abi Waqas RA se riwayat hai ki woh Nabi SAW ke sath aik aurat ke paas aye. Uske samne khajoor ki ghutliyan ya kankriyan padi hui thi aur woh unpar tasbeeh parh rahi thi. Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Kya main tumhe aisi cheez na batau jo tumhare liye is se aasan tar ya afzal hai? (Subhan Allahi adada ma khalaqa ..... wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi misla zalik.) Allah ke liye tasbeeh hai un cheezon ki ginti ke barabar jo usne aasman mein takhleeq farmaein, Allah ke liye tasbeeh hai un cheezon ki ginti ke barabar jo usne zameen mein paida farmaein, uske liye tasbeeh hai un cheezon ki ginti ke barabar jo unke darmiyan hain, aur Allah ke liye tasbeeh hai un cheezon ki ginti ke barabar jo woh paida karne wala hai, aur Allah ke liye barai hai usi misl, Allah ke liye hamd hai usi misl, (La ilaha ill Allah) usi misl aur (La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah) usi misl." Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood. Aur Imam Tirmidhi ne farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaadahu hasan, riwayat al-Tirmidhi (3568) wa Abu Dawood (1500).
وَعَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا نَوًى أَوْ حَصًى تُسَبِّحُ بِهِ فَقَالَ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِمَا هُوَ أَيْسَرُ عليكِ مِنْ هَذَا أَوْ أَفْضَلُ؟ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا هُوَ خَالِقٌ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب
