Thauban said that he heard God’s messenger say, "I would not give this verse for the whole world, 'My servants who have transgressed against their souls, do not despair . . .’ ”1 A man asked whether that included those who had associated partners with God, and after remaining silent for a time the Prophet said three times, “Yes, it includes even those who have associated partners with God.” 1 . Qur'an, xxxix, 53

ثوبان ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ اس آیت ’’ میرے بندو ! جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا اللہ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہونا ‘‘ کے بدلے پوری دنیا کا مل جانا بھی مجھے پسند نہیں ۔‘‘ کسی آدمی نے عرض کیا ، تو جس نے شرک کیا ہو ؟ نبی ﷺ خاموش رہے ، پھر آپ نے تین مرتبہ فرمایا :’’ سن لو ! جس نے شرک کیا ہو ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد ۔
Sobaan bayan karte hain main ne Rasool Allah farmate hue suna is ayat mere bando jinhon ne apni jaanon par zulm kiya Allah ki rehmat se mayoos na hona ke badle puri duniya ka mil jana bhi mujhe pasand nahin kisi aadmi ne arz kiya to jis ne shirk kiya ho Nabi khamosh rahe phir aap ne teen martaba farmaya sun lo jis ne shirk kiya ho isnaad zaeef riwayat Ahmad
وَعَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي الدُّنْيَا بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ (يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرفُوا على أنْفُسِهم لَا تَقْنَطوا)\الْآيَةَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: فَمَنْ أَشْرَكَ؟ فَسَكَتَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَلا وَمن أشرَكَ» ثَلَاث مرَّاتٍ\
