Description of seeking refuge
بيان طلب العون والمعونة
Mishkat al-Masabih 2475
‘A’isha told of the Prophet looking at the moon and saying, “Seek refuge in God from the evil of this one, ‘A'isha, for this is the darkness when it overspreads.” 2 2. cf. Qur’an, cxiii, 3. The tradition is said to refer to the moon being eclipsed. Tirmidhi transmitted it.

عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے چاند کی طرف دیکھا تو فرمایا :’’ عائشہ ؓ ! اس کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ طلب کرو ، کیونکہ یہی وہ غاسق ہے جب بے نور ہو جائے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ayesha RA se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne chand ki taraf dekha to farmaya: "Ayesha RA! Iss ke shar se Allah ki panaah talab karo, kyunki yahi woh ghasiq hai jab be-noor ho jaye." Isnaadahu hasan, riwayatul Tirmizi.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ فَقَالَ: «يَا عَائِشَةُ اسْتَعِيذِي بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا فَإِنَّ هَذَا هُوَ الْغَاسِقُ إِذا وَقب» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
