Ibrahim b. ‘Abd ar-Rahman al-‘Udhri reported God's messenger as saying, "In every successive century those who are reliable authorities will preserve this knowledge, rejecting the changes made by extremists, the plagiarisms of those who make false claims for themselves, and the interpretations of the ignorant.”* *The source is lacking. The editor of the Damascus edition of theMishkatsays the tradition is given by Baihaqi inal-Madkhal.

ابراہیم بن عبدالرحمن عذری ؒ (مرسل روایت) بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اس علم کو بعد میں آنے والے ہر طبقہ کے صاحب تقویٰ لوگ حاصل کریں گے ، وہ اس (علم) سے غلو کرنے والوں کی تحریف ، جھوٹے لوگوں کی جعل سازی اور جہلا کی تاویل کی نفی کریں گے ۔‘‘ بیہقی نے المدخل میں مرسل روایت کیا ہے ، ہم جابر ؓ سے مروی حدیث : ((فانما شفاء العی السوال)) کو باب التیمم میں ان شاء اللہ بیان کریں گے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ البیھقی (۱۰/ ۲۰۹) ۔
Ibraheem bin Abdurrahman Uzri (Mursal Riwayat) bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Iss ilm ko baad mein aane wale har tabqe ke sahib taqwa log hasil karenge, woh iss (ilm) se ghulu karne walon ki tahreef, jhoote logon ki jalsazi aur jahla ki taweel ki nafi karenge.'' Bayhaqi ne al-Madkhal mein Mursal riwayat kiya hai, hum Jabir se marwi hadees: ((Fainnama shifa al-ee as-sawaal)) ko bab at-Tayammum mein insha Allah bayan karenge. وَعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعُذْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «يَحْمِلُ هَذَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَلَفٍ عُدُولُهُ يَنْفُونَ عَنْهُ تَحْرِيفَ الْغَالِينَ وَانْتِحَالَ الْمُبْطِلِينَ وَتَأْوِيلَ الْجَاهِلين» . رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيّ
