Description of the sanctity of Madinah, may Allah protect it
بيان حرمة المدينة، اللهم احفظها
Mishkat al-Masabih 2731
He told that when the people saw the first fruits they brought them to the Prophet, and when he received them he said, "O God, bless us in our fruits; bless us in our city; bless us in our sa‘; and bless us in our mudd. O God, Abraham was Thy servant, friend and prophet, and I am Thy servant and prophet. He made supplication to Thee on behalf of Mecca, and I make on behalf of Medina the same supplication as he made on behalf of Mecca and as much again." He would then call to him the youngest child and give him those fruits. Muslim transmitted it.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب لوگ پہلا پہلا پھل دیکھتے تو اسے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں پیش کرتے ، جب آپ ﷺ اسے پکڑلیتے تو دعا فرماتے :’’ اے اللہ ! ہمارے لیے پھلوں میں برکت فرما ، اے اللہ ! ہمارے لیے ہمارے مدینے میں برکت فرما ، ہمارے صاع اور ہمارے مد (ناپ تول کے پیمانے) میں برکت فرما ، اے اللہ ! بے شک ابراہیم ؑ تیرے بندے ، تیرے خلیل اور تیرے نبی تھے ، اور میں بھی تیرا بندہ اور تیرا نبی ہوں ، بے شک انہوں نے تجھ سے مکہ کے لیے دعا فرمائی اور میں تجھ سے اسی مثل مدینہ کے لیے دعا کرتا ہوں اور اس کی مثل اس کے ساتھ مزید دعا کرتا ہوں ۔‘‘ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، پھر آپ ﷺ اپنے کسی سب سے چھوٹے بچے کو بلاتے اور وہ پھل اسے دے دیتے ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, jab log pehla pehla phal dekhte to usey Nabi ki khidmat mein pesh karte, jab Aap usey pakad lete to dua farmate: ''Aye Allah! Humare liye phalon mein barkat farma, Aye Allah! Humare liye humare Madine mein barkat farma, humare sa'a aur humare mudd (naap tol ke paimane) mein barkat farma, Aye Allah! Be shak Ibrahim Tere bande, Tere Khalil aur Tere Nabi the, aur mein bhi Tera banda aur Tera Nabi hun, be shak unhon ne Tujh se Makkah ke liye dua farmaayi aur mein Tujh se usi misl Madinah ke liye dua karta hun aur uski misl uske sath mazeed dua karta hun.'' Rawi bayan karte hain, phir Aap apne kisi sab se chhote bache ko bulate aur woh phal usey de dete. Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّاسُ إِذَا رَأَوْا أَوَّلَ الثَّمَرَةِ جَاءُوا بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذَا أَخَذَهُ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي ثَمَرِنَا وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مَدِينَتِنَا وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَبْدُكَ وَخَلِيلُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ وَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ وَإِنَّهُ دَعَاكَ لِمَكَّةَ وَأَنَا أدعوكَ للمدينةِ بمثلِ مَا دعَاكَ لمكةَ ومِثْلِهِ مَعَهُ» . ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَدْعُو أَصْغَرَ وَلِيدٍ لَهُ فيعطيهِ ذَلِك الثَّمر. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
