Description of the sanctity of Madinah, may Allah protect it
بيان حرمة المدينة، اللهم احفظها
Mishkat al-Masabih 2745
He told of the Prophet coming in sight of Uhud and saying, “This is a mountain which loves us and which we love. O God, Abraham declared Mecca sacred, and I declare the land between its (Medina's) two lava plains to be sacred.” Bukhari and Muslim.
Grade: Sahih
انس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو اُحد پہاڑ نظر آیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یہ وہ پہاڑ ہے جو ہم سے محبت کرتا ہے اور ہم اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں ، اے اللہ ! بے شک ابراہیم ؑ نے مکہ کو حرام قرار دیا ، اور میں مدینہ کے دونوں پتھریلی جگہ کے درمیانی علاقے کو حرام قرار دیتا ہوں ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Anas RA se riwayat hai ke Nabi SAW ko Uhud pahad nazar aaya to aap SAW ne farmaya: "Yeh woh pahad hai jo hum se muhabbat karta hai aur hum is se muhabbat karte hain, Aye Allah! Be shak Ibrahim AS ne Makkah ko haram qarar diya, aur main Madina ke donon pathrili jaga ke darmiyaani ilaqe ko haram qarar deta hun." Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ: «هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أحرم مَا بَين لابتيها»
