Description of the sanctity of Madinah, may Allah protect it
بيان حرمة المدينة، اللهم احفظها
Mishkat al-Masabih 2755
A man from Banu Khattab narrated from the Prophet ﷺ, he ﷺ said: "Whoever intends to visit me, on the Day of Resurrection he will be my neighbor, and whoever takes up residence in Medina and is patient with its difficulties, I will be a witness or an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever dies in any place within the Haram (Makkah, Medina), then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be among those who are safe and secure." (This narration has weakness in its chain of narrators). It was narrated by Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

آل خطاب میں سے ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے روایت کیا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص قصداً میری زیارت کے لیے آئے تو روز قیامت وہ میرے پڑوس میں ہو گا ، جو شخص مدینہ میں سکونت اختیار کرے اور اس کی مشکلات پر صبر کرے تو روز قیامت میں اس کے لیے گواہ بنوں گا یا سفارشی ہوں گا ، اور جو حرمین (مکہ ، مدینہ) میں کسی جگہ فوت ہوا تو روز قیامت وہ امن والوں میں سے ہو گا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Al Khatab mein se aik aadmi ne Nabi se riwayat kiya, Aap ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs qasdan meri ziyarat ke liye aaye to roz qayamat woh mere pados mein ho ga, jo shakhs Madina mein sukoonat ikhtiyar kare aur is ki mushkilat par sabar kare to roz qayamat mein is ke liye gawaah banunga ya sifarishi hounga, aur jo Harmain (Makkah, Madina) mein kisi jagah faut hua to roz qayamat woh aman walon mein se ho ga." Isnaadahu zaeef, Rawah al Baihaqi fi Shoab al Imaan.
وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ آلِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ زَارَنِي مُتَعَمِّدًا كَانَ فِي جِوَارِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ سَكَنَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَصَبَرَ عَلَى بَلَائِهَا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا وَشَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي أَحَدِ الْحَرَمَيْنِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة»
