Mishkat al-Masabih 2766
Jabir said he heard God’s Messenger say in the year of the Conquest when he was in Mecca, "God and His Messenger have declared forbidden the sale of wine, animals which have died a natural death, swine and idols.” He was asked what he thought of the fat of animals which had died a natural death, for it was used for caulking ships, greasing skins, and making oil for lamps, and after saying that it was unlawful he added, "God curse the Jews! When He declared the fat of such animals unlawful they melted it, then sold it and enjoyed the price they received. “ (Bukhari and Muslim.)

جابر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فتح مکہ کے سال رسول اللہ ﷺ کو مکہ میں فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ بے شک اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے شراب ، مردار ، خنزیر اور بتوں کی بیع کو حرام قرار دیا ہے ۔‘‘ عرض کیا گیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! مردار کی چربی کے بارے میں بتائیں ؟ کیونکہ اس کے ذریعے کشتیوں کو روغن کیا جاتا ہے ، کھالیں چکنی کی جاتی ہیں ، اور لوگ اسے چراغوں میں جلا کر روشنی حاصل کرتے ہیں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ نہیں ، وہ حرام ہے ۔‘‘ پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ یہود کو غارت کرے ، کیونکہ اللہ نے جب اس کی چربی حرام قرار دی تو انہوں نے پگھلا کر بیچا اور پھر اس کی قیمت کھائی ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Jibir RA se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Fath Makkah ke saal Rasul Allah SAW ko Makkah mein farmate huye suna: ''Beshak Allah aur uske Rasul ne sharaab, murdar, khaziraur buton ki bai ko haram qarar diya hai.'' Arz kiya gaya, Allah ke Rasul! Murdar ki charbi ke baare mein bataien? Kyunke uske zariye kashtion ko roghan kiya jata hai, khalein chakni ki jati hain, aur log use chiragon mein jala kar roshni hasil karte hain? Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Nahin, woh haram hai.'' Phir aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Allah Yahud ko gharat kare, kyunke Allah ne jab uski charbi haram qarar di to unhon ne pighla kar becha aur phir uski qeemat khai.'' Mutafaqu alaihi.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَهُوَ بِمَكَّةَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَرَّمَ بَيْعَ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْتَةِ وَالْخِنْزِيرِ وَالْأَصْنَامِ» . فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ شُحُومَ الْمَيْتَةِ؟ فَإِنَّهُ تُطْلَى بِهَا السُّفُنُ وَيُدْهَنُ بِهَا الْجُلُودُ وَيَسْتَصْبِحُ بِهَا النَّاسُ؟ فَقَالَ: «لَا هُوَ حَرَامٌ» . ثُمَّ قَالَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ: «قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَّا حَرَّمَ شُحُومَهَا أَجْمَلُوهُ ثُمَّ بَاعُوهُ فَأَكَلُوا ثَمَنَهُ»
