Sa'id b. al-Musayyib told inmursalform that God’s Messenger forbade the sale of meat for animals1. Sa'id said it was connected with themaisir2of the people of pre-Islamic times. It is transmitted inSharh as-sunna. 1. i.e. meat sold in exchange for living animals. 2. A game of chance played with arrows for parts of a camel. The type of transaction mentioned in the tradition is evidently considered to contain something in the nature of a gamble.

سعید بن مسیّب ؒ سے مرسل روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حیوان کے بدلے گوشت کی بیع سے منع فرمایا ہے ۔ سعید ؒ نے فرمایا : یہ جاہلیت کے جوئے کی ایک صورت تھی ۔ صحیح ، رواہ البغوی فی شرح السنہ ۔
Saeed bin Musayyab se mursal riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ne haivan ke badle gosht ki baye se mana farmaya hai. Saeed ne farmaya: ye jahiliyat ke jue ki aik surat thi. Sahih, riwayat al-Bukhari fi sharh al-sunnah.
وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ مُرْسَلًا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نهى عَن بَيْعِ اللَّحْمِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: كَانَ مِنْ مَيْسِرِ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ. رَوَاهُ فِي شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ
