Mishkat al-Masabih 2850
He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “One must not offer more than the amount agreed by his brother*, or ask a woman in marriage when his brother has done so, unless he permits him.” *i.e. when the parties have already agreed on a price. Muslim transmitted it.

ابن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ آدمی اپنے بھائی کی بیع پر بیع کرے نہ اپنے بھائی کے پیغامِ نکاح پر پیغامِ نکاح بھیجے مگر یہ کہ وہ اسے اجازت دے دے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Ibn Umar bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Aadmi apne bhai ki bay par bay kare na apne bhai ke pegham nikah par pegham nikah bheje magar ye ke wo use ijazat de de. Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَبِعِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطِبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ إِلَّا أنْ يأذَنَ لَهُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
