Mishkat al-Masabih 2975
Rafi‘ b. Khadij said:We had most agricultural land in Medina, and a man would let out his land on condition that he should have what was produced in one portion and the man to whom it was let out should have what was produced in another; but sometimes one portion produced a crop while the other did not, so the Prophet forbade them to do that. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

رافع بن خدیج ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم اہل مدینہ زیادہ تر کاشتکار تھے ، ہم میں سے کوئی اپنی زمین کرائے پر دیتا تو یوں کہتا : یہ قطعہ زمین میرا ہے اور یہ تیرا ، بسا اوقات یہ قطعہ زمین پیداوار دیتا ، اور یہ نہ دیتا ، لہذا نبی ﷺ نے انہیں منع فرما دیا ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Rafi bin Khadij bayan karte hain hum ahle Madina zyada tar kashtakar thay hum mein se koi apni zameen kiraye par deta to yun kehta yeh qata zameen mera hai aur yeh tera basa auqat yeh qata zameen paidaawar deta aur yeh na deta lihaza Nabi ne unhen mana farma diya Muttafiq Alaih
وَعَن رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ حَقْلًا وَكَانَ أَحَدُنَا يُكْرِي أَرْضَهُ فَيَقُولُ: هَذِهِ الْقِطْعَةُ لِي وَهَذِهِ لَكَ فَرُبَّمَا أَخْرَجَتْ ذِهِ وَلَمْ تُخْرِجْ ذِهِ فَنَهَاهُمُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
