Mishkat al-Masabih 3019
An-Nu'man b. Bashir told that his father brought him to God’s Messenger and said, "I have given this son of mine a slave.” He asked whether he had given all his children the same, and when he replied that he had not, he told him to take him back. A version reports him as asking, "Would you like them to show you equal filial piety?” When he replied that he would, he said, "Don’t do it then.” In a version he said that his father gave him a gift, but' Amra* daughter of Rawaha said, "I shall not be satisfied till you call God's Messenger as witness.” So he went to him and said, "I have given my son from ‘Amra daughter of Rawaha a gift and she has ordered me to call you as witness, Messenger of God.” He asked whether he had given the rest of his children the same, and when he replied that he had not, he said, "Fear God and act equally with your children.” He said that he then returned and took back his gift. A version quotes him as saying, "I shall not be a witness to oppression.” * She was the wife of Bashir b, Sad al-Ansari and mother of an-Nu'man (Isti'ab, p. 746). (Bukhari and Muslim.)

نعمان بن بشیر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ میرے والد مجھے لے کر رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو عرض کیا ، میں نے اپنے بیٹے کو ایک غلام ہبہ کیا ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا تم نے اپنی ساری اولاد کو (برابر) اس طرح کا ہبہ کیا ہے ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا ، نہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے واپس لے لو ۔‘‘ ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا تم پسند کرتے ہو کہ وہ سارے تیرے ساتھ مساوی حسن سلوک کریں ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں ! آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تو پھر تم ایسے کیوں نہیں کرتے ؟‘‘\nایک روایت میں ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : میرے والد نے مجھے ایک عطیہ دیا تو عمرہ بنت رواحہ ؓ (میری والدہ) نے کہا : میں راضی نہیں حتی کہ تم رسول اللہ ﷺ کو گواہ بنا لو ۔ وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آئے تو عرض کیا : میں نے عمرہ بنت رواحہ ؓ سے اپنے بیٹے کو ایک عطیہ دیا ہے اور اللہ کے رسول ! اس نے کہا ہے کہ میں آپ کو گواہ بناؤں ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا تم نے اپنی باقی اولاد کو بھی اسی طرح کا عطیہ دیا ہے ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا نہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ سے ڈرو اور اپنی اولاد کے درمیان انصاف کرو ۔‘‘ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، وہ واپس آئے اور اپنا عطیہ واپس لے لیا ۔ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے : کہ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں ظلم پر گواہ نہیں بنتا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔\n
Numan bin Bashir (RA) se riwayat hai ki mere walid mujhe lekar Rasul Allah (SAW) ki khidmat mein hazir hue to arz kiya, maine apne bete ko ek ghulam hiba kiya hai, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Kya tum ne apni sari aulad ko (barabar) is tarah ka hiba kiya hai?'' Unhon ne arz kiya, nahin, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Ise wapas le lo.'' Ek dusri riwayat mein hai ki Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Kya tum pasand karte ho ki woh sare tere sath musawi husn salook karen?'' Unhon ne arz kiya: Ji haan! Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''To phir tum aise kyun nahin karte?'' Ek riwayat mein hai, unhon ne kaha: Mere walid ne mujhe ek atiya diya to Umra bint Rawah (RA) (meri walida) ne kaha: Main razi nahin hatta ki tum Rasul Allah (SAW) ko gawah bana lo. Woh Rasul Allah (SAW) ke pass aaye to arz kiya: Maine Umra bint Rawah (RA) se apne bete ko ek atiya diya hai aur Allah ke Rasul! Usne kaha hai ki main aap ko gawah banaun. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Kya tum ne apni baqi aulad ko bhi isi tarah ka atiya diya hai?'' Unhon ne arz kiya nahin, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Allah se daro aur apni aulad ke darmiyan insaf karo.'' Rawi bayan karte hain, woh wapas aaye aur apna atiya wapas le liya. Aur ek dusri riwayat mein hai: Ki Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Main zulm par gawah nahin banta.'' Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي نَحَلْتُ ابْنِي هَذَا غُلَامًا فَقَالَ: «أَكُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَ مِثْلَهُ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «فَأَرْجِعْهُ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «أَيَسُرُّكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا إِلَيْكَ فِي الْبِرِّ سَوَاءً؟» قَالَ: بَلَى قَالَ: «فَلَا إِذن» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَعْطَانِي أَبِي عَطِيَّةً فَقَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ بِنْتُ رَوَاحَةَ: لَا أَرْضَى حَتَّى تشهد رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَعْطَيْتُ ابْنِي مِنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ رَوَاحَةَ عَطِيَّةً فَأَمَرَتْنِي أَنْ أُشْهِدَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ: «أَعْطَيْتَ سَائِرَ وَلِدِكَ مِثْلَ هَذَا؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ» . قَالَ: فَرَجَعَ فَرَدَّ عَطِيَّتَهُ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَا أشهد على جور»
