Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you touches his private parts with his hand, and there is nothing between his hand and his private parts, let him perform ablution." (Hasan) It was narrated by Ash-Shafi'i (1/19), Ad-Daraqutni (1/147 Hadith 525), Ibn Hibban (1115) in Al-Mustadrak (1/138 under Hadith 479), and An-Nasa'i (1/100 Hadith 163).

ابوہریرہ ؓ کی سند سے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے مروی ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنا ہاتھ اپنی شرم گاہ کو لگائے جبکہ اس (ہاتھ) اور اس (شرم گاہ) کے درمیان کوئی چیز حائل نہ ہو تو وہ وضو کرے ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الشافعی (۱ / ۱۹) و الدار قطنی (۱ / ۱۴۷ ح ۵۲۵) و ابن حبان (۱۱۱۵) المستدرک (۱ / ۱۳۸ تحت ح ۴۷۹) و النسائی (۱ / ۱۰۰ ح ۱۶۳) ۔
Abu Hurairah RA ki sand se Rasool Allah SAW se marvi hai, aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Jab tum mein se koi shakhs apna hath apni sharam gah ko lagaye jabke us (hath) aur us (sharam gah) ke darmiyaan koi cheez hail na ho to wo wuzu kare.'' Hasan, Riwayat al-Shafi'i (1/19) wa al-Dar Qutni (1/147 H 525) wa Ibn Hibban (1115) al-Mustadrak (1/138 tahat H 479) wa al-Nasa'i (1/100 H 163).
وَقد روى أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَفْضَى أَحَدُكُمْ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى ذَكَرِهِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا شَيْءٌ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ» . رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ والدراقطني
