‘A’isha said that God’s Messenger gave them their choice and they chose God and His Messenger; so that was not reckoned as counting in any way to their divorce. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں اختیار دیا تو ہم نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو منتخب کیا ، آپ نے اسے ہمارے متعلق کچھ بھی شمار نہ کیا ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Ayesha bayan karti hain, Rasool Allah ne humein ikhtiyar diya to hum ne Allah aur uske Rasool ko muntakhib kiya, aap ne isse humare mutalliq kuchh bhi shumaar na kiya. Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاخْتَرْنَا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَلَمْ يَعُدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا شَيْئًا
