Ali reported God’s Messenger as saying, “There are three whose actions are not recorded:a sleeper till he awakes, a boy till he reaches puberty, and an idiot till he is restored to reason.” Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it. Darimi transmitted it on the authority of 'A’isha, and Ibn Majah on the authority of both (i.e. ‘Ali and ‘A’isha’)

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تین شخص مرفوع القلم ہیں ، سویا ہوا حتی کہ جاگ جائے ، بچہ حتی کہ بالغ ہو جائے ، اور مجنون حتی کہ وہ ہوش مند ہو جائے ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Teen shakhs marfoo ul qalam hain, soya hua hat ta ke jaag jaye, bachcha hat ta ke baligh ho jaye, aur majnoon hat ta ke woh hosh mand ho jaye. Hasan, Riwayat Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawood.
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يعقل . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
