بيان النان والنفقة وحق المملوك
Mishkat al-Masabih 3365
Abu Umama told that God’s Messenger gave ‘Ali a youth and said, “Do not beat him, for I have been prohibited from beating people who observe the prayer, and I have seen him praying.” This is the wording inal-Masabih.

ابوامامہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے علی ؓ کو ایک غلام ہبہ کیا تو فرمایا :’’ اسے مارنا نہیں ، کیونکہ نمازیوں کو مارنے سے منع کیا گیا ہے اور میں نے اسے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے ۔‘‘ یہ مصابیح کے الفاظ ہیں ۔ حسن ، رواہ البغوی فی المصابیح و احمد و الطبرانی ۔
Abu Umama RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne Ali RA ko aik ghulam hiba kiya to farmaya: "Ise marna nahin, kyunkeh namazion ko marne se mana kiya gaya hai aur maine ise namaz parhte hue dekha hai." Yeh Musabih ke alfaz hain. Hasan, Rawahul Baghwi fi al Musabih wa Ahmad wa al Tabrani.
وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ\أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم وَهَبَ لِعَلِيٍّ غُلَامًا فَقَالَ: «لَا تَضْرِبْهُ فَإِنِّي نُهِيتُ عَنْ ضَرْبِ أَهْلِ الصَّلَاةِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي» . هَذَا لفظ المصابيح\
